Player History

Pablo was a product of Mallorca Youth System and met his first debut in the senior team at the age of 17. He mostly played for the reserves team until he left the club for Gimnastic.

Mari signed for Gimnastic in 2013making his debut a month later in a rather sad day for him as he conceded a penalty in a match against Olimpic de Xativa. On December of 2013, he scored his first goal which helped Gimnastic to beat Levante UD. He later proceeded to sign a three-year deal at the club after they got promoted to Segunda Division.  He scored a few goals for the club before he was on transit once more this time to the English Premier league.

Manchester City

He signed with the Citizens in 2016 only to be loaned out a day later to Girona FC.  While a city player, he had lloan spells with NAC Breda and Deportivo La Coruna. After growing frustrations in loan spells, Pablo signed for Brazillian top club Famengo.

He signed for the Brazillian side in 2019 on a contract that is expected to run upto 2022. He made his debut the same month he joined where he quickly cemented himself on the Central Back position. His greatest achievement is being the first Spanish player to win the Copa Libertadores a major competition in south America.

Pablo signed a loan deal with arsenal on 29th January 2020, the loan is expected to last for half the season though arsenal have an option to buy. With the imminent arrival of William Saliba, all indications are that Pablo Mari would only spend six months at the Emirates.
