Former Nyaribari Chache MP and Cabinet Minister Simeon Nyachae is dead.

Nyachae who has been in Nairobi Hospital for the better part of January is reported to have breathed his last on Monday, February 1, 2021.
The vocal MP and once perceived kingpin of Kisii politics contested for presidency in 2002 and emerged position three behind former president Mwai Kibaki and President Uhuru Kenyatta respectively.
Reports indicate that his son and former Constitutional Implementation Committee (CIC) Chairman Charles Nyachae was planning to urgently fly to Nairobi from Kisii following the news of his father’s demise.
Simeon was born in Kisii on February 6, 1932 and was son of powerful colonial Chief Musa Nyandusi.
